Great info--I especially enjoyed knowing that my shower stretches are good for my health along with waking me up!

Hi Mary Lou,
This subject really hit home. These articles were a mix of depressing and inspirational topics :-). I guess it is time to face reality and make some positive lifestyle changes. It is so much easier to return to old, unhealthy habits, unless one has a strong motivator. The articles and web sites offer many useful suggestions for maintaining and improving the mind and body. It seems as though you covered everything including exercise, exercise, and exercise.
I never really thought much about aging since it is lived, and not always seen on a daily basis. Diseases tend to creep up on us, unexpectedly, but can be mitigated by practicing preventative medicine. One of your sites mentioned writing in a journal which I have done for many years. Part of my night time ritual is to write about positive situations, people, etc. that occured that day. I have taken a course in Feng Shui and hope to declutter when I am home long enough to do so. Alot of living a healthy lifestyle is taking care of yourself first which is something that many of us have not yet mastered. A friend had recommended becoming involved with AARP as there are many programs available for the 50 and older crowd. Your subject and articles are food for thought and I appreciate the reminder to take better care of oneself. Thank you.
Mary Anne

Stress Management is so important topic one that would ease a lot of people's angst. It would behoove companies to really spend some time and money in promoting this area of management (which would increase their bottom line). Thanks for the info.
